ABSTRACT

Scientific terminology are the special terms derived by the professionals working in a special branch of science in order to explain certain concepts and the most important basic tools for communication. To know the origins and the stories of some of these terms used in the profession may bring convenience to dermatologists, especially to the ones that are taking new steps to the field. The purpose of this review is to contribute to a better understanding and more awareness of the terminology by referring the historical origins and the clinical manifestations of the diseases for the terms that commonly used in dermatology.
