ABSTRACT

Filling injections are the process of implanting various fillers into the dermis. The selection of the correct product according to localization to be injected, the injection technique used, appropriate patient selection and patient expectations, physician experience, joint botulinum toxin injection, laser, chemical peeling affect the cosmetic result in filling process. Although the filling products are quite safe products, various side effects and complications can occur depending on the application made, the place where the filling is made, the product or the application technique. In order to minimize any complications that may arise, the patient’s condition, the filler material to be applied and the technique of application should be assessed in the best possible way, and the users should have theoretical knowledge and application skills at a sufficient level about the products.
