ABSTRACT
Unilateral nevoid telangiectasia (UNT) is a rare cutaneous disease, which is characterized by unilateral, dermatomal superficial dermal telangiectases. There are congenital and acquired forms. Although its etiopathological causes are still unknown, hyperestrogenism and increase of the estrogen and the progesterone receptors in affected tissue associated with hormonal factors which are believed to have a role in the etiology of this disease. The association with UNT and various diseases such as chronic liver disease, hepatitis B and C, hyperthyroidism have been reported. However, it is known that it can be diagnosed in healthy adults. We report a 28-year-old female patient with diagnosis of puberty onset acquired UNT with normal hormone levels and review of the literature.
