ABSTRACT

Verrucae are benign proliferations of skin and mucosae due to infection with papillomaviruses. They may show different clinical presentations according to clinical appearance and localization. With time, 60% of verrucae may spontaneously resolve. Since there is no single effective treatment method, a few different methods may be combined or used consecutively. In this paper, local treatment options for extragenital verrucae have been discussed.
