ABSTRACT
Sarcoidosis is a multisystem granulomatous disorder of unclear origin. Subcutaneous sarcoidosis is the least encountered one among the cutaneous sarcoidosis types. It was described for the first time by Darier and Roussy in 1904. Subcutaneous sarcoidosis usually appearing at the beginning of the disease and it can be useful in the diagnosis of systemic sarcoidosis. It usually heralds a form of sarcoidosis with nonsevere systemic involvement. In this article, we present a 50-year-old woman with subcutaneous sarcoidosis.
