ABSTRACT
Herpes Zoster is a detrital disease which is formed as a result of reactivation of the varicella zoster virus (VZV). It is characterized by sensitive vesicles and papules on erythematous tissue, localized along one or more sensory nerves. Although herpes zoster is usually seen in adult patients, it is also seen in earlier age of patients especially with immunosuppressive diseases. Here, a 14-month old patient who doesn’t have an immunosuppressive disease, vaccinated against varicella 2 months ago, reported no past history of varicella, and diagnosed with herpes zoster, is presented.
