ABSTRACT

Urticaria pigmentosa is the most common form of cutaneous mastocytosis in children and adults. The most common types of skin manifestations of urticaria pigmentosa is characterised by monomorphic macular, papular and nodular lesions. Darier’s sign is identified by applying the trauma to the lesions is important at diagnosis. Histopathologically, an increased mast cell accumulation in the skin is determined at urticaria pigmentosa. We aimed to discuss by the review of the literature a half month old male patient with urticaria pigmentosa that is a clinically and histopathologically diagnosed and present as a typical sign of Darier.
