Autologous fat transplantation is frequently used for cosmetic and reconstructive purposes. Although the concept of this procedure is very old, the ease of application and the closed tecnique as injection made this very popular. Lipocontouring will possibly continue to play a prominent role in facial aesthetic surgery with or without other modalities.
