Allergy skin tests due to either its reliability or relatively easier application and lower cost, is one of the most important methods in the diagnosis ofallergen sensitivity. Clinical tests are available for different tests which epidermal and intradermal skin tests mainly classified in two groups. To increase reliability and to reach a decisive conclusion as far as possible standardized products must be used in the skin tests. Conditions that must be followed to obtain the best results of the tests must be taken care. False negative and false-positive results may be encountered. Good to know what should be done to prevent this problem, and tests must be interpreted accordingly
